BANINO - Benguela Niños: Physical processes and long-term variability

The BANINO project focusses on the physical forcing of coastal upwelling of Southwestern Africa and their variability. The project aims at building and expanding local capacities through cooperative research of German and African Scientists, summer schools, joint research cruises, and by providing data and model output for analysis at African universities and institutes.
